Last year’s garlic planting party was such a success – we all basically got ‘er done in about 15 minutes – so we’re having another one this year.
When:
Sunday, October 6th from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Where:
Broadfork Farm, 3630 Boars Back Rd, River Hebert, NS. It’s about an hour’s drive from Dieppe/Moncton. About 25 minutes from Amherst, NS. Towards Joggins. While you’re driving here, cell phone reception can be spotty so keep your directions handy offline. Oh, and the main place people get turned around is right at the end: when you’re on Highway 242, don’t drive down (turning right) into River Hebert, continue straight/slight left onto the Boars Back Rd (I don’t think there’s a sign).
What Else?
We’ll also give a tour of the farm.
Depending on weather, we may also give a little seed-saving demo or plant some tulip bulbs.
Dress for the weather – we’ll be here rain or shine!
You can see the beauty of fall colours with the forest around us.
All ages welcome!
Anyone who’s into art – like photography, drawing, painting, etc. might want to look for some inspiration on the farm.
If you’re looking for a potential carpool, check out the event on facebook.
