We’re excited to return to the Dieppe Market for the year, beginning this coming Saturday (April 27th)!
It has been a wet spring for sure. Our fields are extremely well-draining but it’s still too wet to do much digging or driving around with our tractor. Luckily, our work is mostly done by hand so we’ve still been able to get some planting done.
We didn’t have any hoophouses covered with plastic over the winter (we usually have at least 1) and we had a really windy spring, so it was a bit later than usual for us to get the plastic covers up and plant our spring hoophouse crops. They’re growing but still smaller than usual for this time of year.
However we have been busy harvesting the tulips in the hoophouse! Our house has definitely been brightened by bouquets lately and we’re excited to share the beauty.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday…well Bryan will see you, Shannon will be busy at home caring for the young seedlings that need watering and planting for our harvests to come!
